What a great weekend. Today we woke to an ominous rainy day and the sad thought that we might miss out again on suprising the kids with a trip to the zoo. However we decided to brave the weather and hoped that it would hold out and even clear for us to enjoy the outing. IT DID!!!
It was a great day getting up close with the animals. Although nothing like "Australia Zoo", you still can't beat seeing animals like 'the white lions', cheaky monkeys, holding snakes, spitting lamas, talking Mcaws and snapping crocks. It was great and the kids loved every minute of it. The highlight was getting to hold the slithering python!!
